Sponsored by Chevy Chase @ Home, sister Village of VoK "Financial scams targeting seniors have become so prevalent that they’re now considered the crime of the 21st century.” Our speaker is Jeannine Robinson-Hurley, MPS, who is the Education, Training and Outreach Coordinator in the Maryland Office of Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division. Learn about the tell-tale signs of a scam, current scams to avoid and how to protect yourself from becoming a victim of a scam. There will be a question-and-answer period and handouts to take home. There is no fee to attend this event and guests are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served. Street parking is available on streets as designated. Donations are gratefully received. Registration Appreciated, not required.
